WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Remote tethered shoots are a way for photographers and models to produce high quality images together without being in the same physical location. I began offering remote shoots during the pandemic as a response to those who were looking to get creative in quarantine. Since then, I've had many remote shoots with photographers from all over the world. When the shutdown ended I realized this was something I want to continue to offer on a permanent basis!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
First, my Nikon D750 with lenses: 50mm (f1.8), 85mm (f1.8), 24-70mm (f2.8) are set up on a tripod, and connected to my computer using a high-speed USB tethering cable.
I then launch the tethering software - Smart shooter 4 which displays my camera's live view and allows you to control all of the settings and the shutter through my computer.
Next, we launch a Zoom video call, I share my screen with you and give you remote control access to my laptop. This allows you to control my mouse as if it is was your own, so you can adjust the camera settings and click the shutter!
If you want even more remote shooting, we can do it using our smartphone and an app called clos. We both enter a room and the photographer can shoot raw images and even videos from a computer tablet or any smartphone. most of the remote images in my gallery were shot this way!
Regardless of the Equipment, I adjust the camera position, focal length, picture orientation, and angles manually according to your direction, bringing your creative vision to life.
When the shoot is complete, all of the RAW or JPG (depends on the wish of the photographer) image files will be sent to you through Dropbox.
My rates for remote shoots vary based on Genre (2 hour min):

My rates are non-negotiable but at times I can be flexible (depending on content.)
I require an 50% upfront deposit to book your date
and time FOR ALL PHOTOSHOOTS.
